Theme : Weather


Learning about the sun ~ red or yellow, the children know the sun is hot and gives out sun light.
The sun, in Arabic.
Apparels for sunny days - umbrellas, sun glasses, hats or caps.
Learning about 'SHADOWS'. They had a lot of fun 'stepping' on each other shadows.
Writing - 'My Shadow'.
One of the things we can do on a sunny day - fly the kite !
Clouds, rain and rainbow. The clouds were made from scrap papers and painted blue or black, then stuffed with shredded papers and pasted with cotton wool.Umbrella book - writings in B. Melayu about the rain.Rainy Day and the children wore rain coats, brought umbrellas and some wore rubber boots - but it didn't rain that day, so Ms Grace became the 'RAIN-MAKER'. Learning about day and night. What are the activities that we do at night? The children came to school in their night clothes, brought their pillows, cuddly toys, blankets and day became 'night' in the classroom. They talked about the routines they did before going to bed.
The children also looked at people who worked at night and the animals that came out at night.
It's morning! All rise and shine - morning exercise before they have their breakfast.
