J3 VISIT TO SYAZWAN BAKERY STATION

Syawan Bakery Station is a small homely shop selling bread, cookies and the famous 'Kek Lapis Sarawak' (Sarawak layered cakes). The objectives of the visit were to see the things used for cakes, bread and cookies making, the equipments, the various products available and to let the children have a hands-on experience in buns making.

While waiting for the buns to bake, the children recorded what they have seen. Here they were discussing the things to write down.

The buns were perfectly done! It was an amazing experience for the children ~ and the buns tasted as good as they looked!
