Eid in school was on Friday, 18 October. The children came in their best clothes, brought in special food for break time and a number of parents contributed some food to be shared for every one. Thank you to all of you for your generosity. Jazakumullahu khair.
We started off the morning saying out the takbir, with the children joining in. The teachers explained the way to perform solat sunat Eid Adha before they performed the solat. Some of the things that we have been learning in the past few days were : Eid Adha, haj, the story of Nabi Ibrahim and his son, animals that are allowed to be sacrificed.
