Our Ramadan Camp this year was held on Saturday, 27 June 2015. This year we ended our program at 4.30 pm and did not stay on to do the evening activities such as Iftar, Maghrib, Isya and tarawih prayers in the school. Some parents were disappointed that we did not carry out the evening activities. Insya Allah, next year we will do it.
We started the morning with the usual circle time and solat sunat Dhuha. Then the children practiced their hafalan Surah.
The children started baking their cookies to bring home.
This year the BIG BOOK project was on SOLAT. Each group of children with a teacher did a page. Then the pages will be compiled and binded into a book.
We performed solat zuhur at Masjid Darul Ehsan but before that the children were brought around to see the parts of the masjid. They also learned about zakat and people who were responsible to collect the zakat.
