Chinese New Year is a major event and we did a special topic on the Chinese culture. Here are some of the activities carried out in school.
Coming to school in red, the favourite colour of the Chinese. Some wore Chinese costumes.
Eating Chinese traditional food and cakes, not forgetting the oranges.
Learning to write Chinese characters.
Making Chinese theme art & crafts.
Learning to peel Chinese oranges.
