Junior 3 did a theme on 'TREES and PARKS' in March. Here are some of the learning activities they did.

The children cut out objects or things that are made from wood ~ using flyers or newspaper cuttings. We had an excursion to Miri City Fan to study the parts of the trees, the types of trees, the creatures found in the trees and in the park.

Collecting the leaves from the trees in the park and looking at the different shapes of the leaves.
There are also some fruit trees found in the park.

Next day, a review of what the children have done at the park. Here's Ms Ann is pointing out the places in the directory/map of the park and the trees that were found.
The children were divided into groups to reconstruct the directory/map of the park after looking at the photo. 
A small book on the trip to the park.
