MILO ICE

In the theme ''WATER",  the children made 'milo ice' to learn the properties of water.  They poured milo into plastic tubes which were later kept in the freezer.  

The ingredients : milk, sugar & milo.

THE NEXT DAY ~  The milo has frozen and its time to enjoy the fruits of the children's hard labour!

SEEDS

In the theme 'PLANTS', some of the activities carried out were :

1.  Germination Studies of Green Bean Seeds

2.  Seeds Party

Most children brought edible seeds for the party.  Each child brought a different kind of seed to share with their friends.

3.  Green Beans Porridge
The teacher made some green bean seeds into a soup. 

4.  Quantifying the numbers and grouping the seeds

RAMADAN

Insya Allah, the first day of Ramadan will be on Sunday, 29 June 2014.

Water WAR

In the theme 'WATER', one of the activities carried out was water play ~ in the form of war with WATER  GUNS!  The children came to school with their 'guns' which were of various sizes and design. The teachers joined in and it became a battle of children vs teachers!   But Ms Ann has a secret weapon in her hands ~ the water hose which she used to spray the water on EVERY ONE!
