J3 Visit To Petroleum Museum

In conjunction with Miri City Day, Junior 3 did a special topic on Miri City. The discovery of oil is very significant to the development of Miri into a city. And there's no better place to learn the history of Miri than a visit to the Petroleum Museum.

The children also learned and made a lot of discoveries regarding the petroleum industry.

The development of Miri from a small village to a city is depicted in the murals around the Grand Old Lady. Here, Ms Norleha is pointing something interesting to the children.

Teacher Appreciation Day

Teacher's Day in Malaysia is on Monday 16 May. To all teachers all over the world and especially teachers of Tadika Astana .........

Doa : Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan pemerintah alam. Selawat dan salam ke atas Nabi junjungan serta Rasul utusan, begitu juga keluarga dan sahabat kesemuanya.

Ya Allah! Kami menadah tangan kepadaMu, berkatilah segala ilmu yang telah kami pelajari dan berkatilah segala ilmu yang telah kami ajarkan kepada anak didik kami.

Ya Allah ! Anugerahkanlah kepada kami taufiq dan hidayahMu, agar kami menjadi guru yang amanah menjalankan tanggungjawab mendidik serta tambahkanlah kasih sayang antara kami.

Ya Allah! Kami berlindung kepadaMu dari ilmu yang tidak memberi manafaat kepada kami dan agama kami, jadikan kami orang yang beramal dengan ilmu yang Engkau telah berikan kepada kami.

Ya Allah! Kami memohon kepadaMu, mengharap kepadaMu, bertawakal kepadaMu, berilah kejayaan kepada anak didik kami dan janganlah Engkau jadikan mereka tergolong dalam golongkan yang mengunakan ilmu untuk merosakkan agama, negara dan bangsa.

Ya Allah! Kami memohon kepadaMu agar anak-anak didikan kami akan membesar menjadi orang-orang yang berperangai baik dan berahlak mulia, berilmu, beramal, bertaqwa, yang soleh serta berlaku baik kepada ibubapa mereka.

Ya Allah! Kami memohon kepadaMu agar anak-anak didik kami membesar menjadi orang yang sentiasa rajin belajar hingga mencapai kejayaan dan dapat menyumbangkan kebaikkan kepada agama dan bangsa.

Ya Allah! Kami memohon seribu rahmat dan keberkatan dariMu, masukkan kami dalam golongan orang-orang yang Engkau redhai. Mudahkan dan lapangkan dada kami. Animals Crafts

Here are some of the crafts and writings done by the children for the theme on animals. These work were done by the children of ages 4 - 6 years old.

Family Day

The Family Day was held at Dewan Suarah, 8 May 2011 ~ it's more comfortable and NO PROBLEMS with the weather. This year we had 2 parts for the event : children's presentation for Mother's Day and the Fathers; followed by Family Games.

We would NOT be able to run this function smoothly without parents' help and support. We thank you for all your help, support, contribution of food and ideas for this event.

The gifts all in order to be presented to the parents by their children. The children did their gifts and cards at home with the parent's help. There's a lot of creativity in the gifts and the family enjoyed making the gifts. Opening song by Ariff Aqlan, J3..... a dedication to the parents by Qarin, J3.J2 presenting the song 'Daddy I love You' .J2 J3 presenting the song 'My Mom' ~ dedicated to their MUMS. It's beautifully sang by the children ~ brought tears to the mums! All the children singing 'Mummy Daddy I love You'.J1 Section of J1 and Reception class. A surprise presentation from the DADS to their wives ~ singing "For The Rest of My Life'. Listen to the song and read the lyrics.
