Theme : Gardens

Junior 2 did a theme on Gardens in May. One of the activities planned in this theme was a visit to Kai Nguong Nursery at Jalan Miri-Bintulu Road - a place where we can get ornamental plants, grass, trees, fruit trees seedlings, seeds, potting mix, soil, plant food, fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides, weedicides, pots and planters, garden tools, garden decorative items and garden needs.
The purposes of this visit were to show to the children the different kinds of plants (flowering and non-flowering), seeds, things required for growing plants, how to take of plants, garden tools and decorative things we can put in gardens.

We took a bus ........... Saying our doa before embarking on the journey - praying for safe journey to our destination and to come back safely to our homes. Study of Trees

Another activity was carried at Taman Awam on 24 May 2011. The children looked at the various trees found in the park , learn parts of a tree and collected different types of leaves.

After a hard day's work, its time to have fun ! The children had a very enjoyable time with their friends and teachers in the water play ground, Taman Awam.
