Preparing For 2011

PREPARING FOR 2011

School is definitely closed for the children ~ BUT not for the teachers. Teachers are busy preparing the class, recieving enquiries and enrolment for next year. Two of our teachers, Ms Nurul Ayu and Ms Nur Hidayah attended kindergarten in-service training ( Latihan Perguruan Tadika Kohot 2) organised by the Department of Education at Miri Teachers' Institute from 23 Nov - 11 Dec 2010. There are million of things to be done before school starts on 3 January 2011. Ms Grace and Ms Ann will be taking a short break to celebrate Christmas with their families. We will all be back to work from 28 Dec onwards. BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

2010 Wall Displays

WALL DISPLAYS

The pictures below are some of the things that the children have done in the last few months before school closed for the holidays. The children enjoyed seeing their work or project displayed ~ and created a sense of pride in them. The work were related to the themes.

Awal Muharram Maal Hijrah

AWAL MUHARRAM MAAL HIJRAH
A NEW YEAR
TO ALL OUR PARENTS AND MUSLIMS FRIENDS

Awal Muharram is the first day of the first month, Muharram in the Muslim calendar and it also signifies Prophet Muhammad's migration from Mecca to Medina on the first of Muharram in 662AD.
Reflecting ourselves is something that we are taught to do every day, but let us all make this day a special day to really reflect and strive to do things we ought to do to be better Muslims in this new year.

Salam Maal Hijrah and Selamat Menyambut Tahun Baru 1432. We pray to Allah SWT that this new year brings us more barakah and rahmat.
