SELAMAT HARI RAYA EID FITRI

Hari Raya was celebrated on Friday, 24 September. All the children came to school in their best RAYA clothes and parents brought food, drinks and fruits. Some parents joined us to celebrate raya in school and some even gave 'DUIT RAYA' to the children. The food contributed by the parents were very generous and amazing! Ramadan Charity Jar

RAMADAN CHARITY JAR

Salam!

We closed the collection of the Ramadan Charity Jar on Wednesday, 1st September and collected RM471.00 from all the children and teachers.

We gave the collection to Puan Syahidah bt. Kassim of Piasau Jaya Phase 1 on Thursday, 2 September. Puan Syahidah is a widow and has 4 school-going children. She is also taking care of her mother and her blind grandmother. She is staying in a house courtesy of Perbadanan RPR Miri at the moment. The family is also assisted by Masjid Darul Ehsan, Miri.

Ms Norleha and children giving the collection to Puan Syahidah at her house. Her mother is standing beside her.

Thank you for your support, encouragement and involvement in this project ~ to instill values of being charitable and to help the needy in our children; and for ourselves ~ to seek more blessings from Allah SWT in this Ramadan. We pray that our children will grow up to be good Muslims.

Jazakallah and Jazakillah khair.

Prior to this assembly, teachers and children were busy decorating the class with flags and other things made from unwanted stuff.
